Digital Agriculture in Paraná Gains Strength with the Partnership Between Government and New Holland. The Action Brings Agricultural Technology, Innovation in the Field, Student Training, and Modernization of Agricultural Schools, Benefiting 4,500 Young People

Digital agriculture in Paraná is entering a new phase and promises to transform the way thousands of young people learn about the future of the field, according to an article published.

In an unprecedented action, the State Government has joined forces with New Holland, a multinational recognized for its machinery and agricultural technology.

This partnership will allow teachers and students from 29 agricultural schools to have direct access to modern solutions that are already changing the routine of farms around the world.

As a result, over 4,500 students in Technical High School and 40 teachers will have access to comprehensive and practical classes that combine theory and innovation.

The idea is to bring the classroom closer to the market reality, preparing future professionals to handle digital tools, connectivity in the field, and increasingly intelligent machines.

This step marks a significant change, as it brings training focused on digital agriculture and precision farming to the interior of Paraná, sectors that require prepared and up-to-date labor.

The project demonstrates that technical education can be strategic in bridging knowledge with rural life and enhancing agricultural production.

Digital Agriculture in Paraná and Agricultural Technology in Schools

Digital agriculture in Paraná becomes a reality through this cooperation between the State Government, via the Department of Education (Seed), and New Holland.

The focus is to integrate agricultural technology content directly into the curriculum of the 2nd and 3rd years of Technical High School in Animal Husbandry and Agriculture.

The school curriculum will include topics that are part of the daily life of modern farms, such as connectivity and management in the field, functioning of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), the Internet of Things (IoT), and technologies applied to agricultural machinery.

These subjects, previously distant from the school routine, will now be part of the learning experience for young people who will be able to apply this knowledge in their communities and rural properties.

Besides theory, the partnership has already been promoting practical experiences. One example was at the State Center for Agricultural Education (Ceepa) in Cruz Machado, where students tested spraying simulators and satellite navigation systems.

This interaction allowed students to understand how agricultural technology can automate processes such as harvesting and improve productivity in the field.

Innovation in the Field and Teacher Training

Digital agriculture in Paraná also stands out for valuing educators. The partnership guarantees training for 40 teachers, who will receive comprehensive training in a virtual format and periodic in-person meetings.

The idea is to prepare teachers to work with innovation in the field, mastering tools that involve equipment performance and new digital solutions.

The program includes supporting materials such as lesson plans, practical guides, mind maps, and operation manuals for agricultural machinery.

This support goes beyond the classroom, as it allows teachers to convey knowledge in a structured and practical way to students.

With each new training cycle, teachers become multipliers, taking content that can transform the future of local agriculture to different regions of Paraná.

Innovation in the field, therefore, is not limited to machinery, but also extends to how young people learn and prepare for the market.

Agricultural Schools as Centers of Modernization

Digital agriculture in Paraná finds a strategic space in agricultural schools. Currently, the state maintains 29 units of this type, which together serve over 7,500 students.

In these institutions, in addition to the common curriculum, students can choose technical courses that range from animal husbandry and agriculture to health, environment, and technology.

With the introduction of digital agriculture, agricultural schools are beginning to offer training that combines tradition and modernity.

Many students who already live in the countryside and have contact with rural production, such as young Lucas Arndt, can see in practice how technology can connect to family routines and bring improvements in property management.

By aligning education and technology, agricultural schools strengthen the modernization of the productive sector and contribute to reducing the shortage of skilled labor.

These spaces become true laboratories of innovation, bringing the school closer to the reality of the field and generating positive impacts for the entire agribusiness chain.

Training Students for the Future of Agribusiness

Digital agriculture in Paraná represents a direct investment in student training. The initiative ensures that over 4,500 young people have free access to an education aligned with the current demands of agribusiness.

Together with trained teachers, these students will be ready to face the challenges of the sector, which requires updated professionals prepared to deal with connected machines and intelligent processes.

The partnership with New Holland goes beyond classroom teaching. It creates opportunities for practical experience that help students see how innovation can be applied in their daily lives.

This connection between school and market opens doors for future technicians to work in both small properties and large companies in the agricultural sector.

Over time, the education provided in agricultural schools is expected to impact the regional economy as young professionals will be able to contribute directly to the sustainable development of agribusiness.

By learning about precision agriculture, connectivity, and the Internet of Things, students not only keep up with modernization but also help drive new solutions in the field.
