The major innovation of the AI air fryer is its ability to make automatic decisions. As soon as the food is placed in the basket and the drawer is closed, the Amvox ARF 1480 activates its internal camera.
The artificial intelligence system identifies the item and calibrates the ideal cooking process, which includes adjustments to time and temperature.
Additionally, the device alerts with audible and visual signals if the food needs to be turned or if there is a risk of burning.
This feature is especially useful for more delicate preparations, and, according to tests, it has managed to reduce cooking time by recognizing smaller portions—something that demonstrates the system’s adaptability.
Practical Design, But With Construction Limitations
With a 8-liter capacity and 1700W power, the ARF 1480 impresses with its size and strength. The transparent display allows users to monitor the process without opening the drawer, and the digital panel, with well-placed buttons, facilitates handling.
However, not everything is perfect. The polyethylene casing gives a sense of less robustness compared to models with stainless steel finishes. The device is also not dual voltage and requires a 20A outlet, which may limit its compatibility with some kitchens.
AI Without Connection And Camera Cleaning Are Points Of Attention
Although the air fryer’s artificial intelligence works well with common foods, there is an important limitation: Amvox’s database cannot be updated, as the device does not have an internet connection. This means that new recipes or improvements to the automatic adjustments cannot be added.
Another sensitive point is the lack of instructions in the manual regarding the cleaning of the internal camera, which may compromise performance over time. Improper maintenance may affect the precision of the sensors, reducing the effectiveness of the AI system.
Is It Worth Buying The Amvox ARF 1480?
Despite the limitations, the Amvox ARF 1480 offers a quite innovative experience for those seeking convenience in the kitchen. Tests have shown that the air fryer with artificial intelligence truly facilitates daily life, delivering well-prepared food with minimal human intervention.
With a suggested price between R$ 700 and R$ 900, the air fryer may be an excellent choice for those looking to modernize their routine.
Still, it is worth considering the technical points before purchasing, such as the need for a specific outlet and the absence of an internet connection.
