With Investments in Brazil, Ambev Leads Wealth Generation and Accelerates Innovation and Digitization in the Brewing Industry.

Ambev was identified as the publicly traded company in the consumer goods sector that most promotes wealth generation for Brazilian society.

The recognition came from a recent study by Abrasca, which evaluated factors such as supply chain, tax burden, workforce remuneration, and economic impact.

The survey considers updated data and highlights the company’s operations throughout the national territory, reinforcing its strategic role in the brewing industry and the country’s economy.

Tax Burden and Direct Impact on Wealth Generation

Among the main indicators analyzed, the volume of taxes paid by the company stands out.

Only in 2024, Ambev collected about R$ 42 billion in taxes, fees, and contributions, a figure that reinforces its relevance for public finances.

This amount directly contributes to public policies, infrastructure, and essential services, indirectly expanding wealth generation for the population.

Moreover, historic brands like Brahma and Skol remain strongly connected to consumption and Brazilian culture, keeping the company as one of the main engines of the national economy.

Brewing Industry Generates Jobs and Income in the Country

The Brazilian brewing industry occupies a prominent position in the global scenario.

Today, Brazil is the third largest beer producer in the world, behind only the United States and China.

According to data from Sindicerv, the sector employs around 2.5 million people, pays over R$ 27 billion in salaries per year, and represents approximately 2% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

In this context, Ambev consolidates itself as one of the main vectors of job and income generation.

Investments in Brazil Sustain Growth and Expansion

In the last three years, the company has allocated over R$ 10 billion in investments in Brazil, aimed at modernizing factories.

According to the brewing category director at Ambev, Anna Paula Alves, these investments are essential to maintain a sustainable growth cycle.

New Factory in Paraná Strengthens Premium and Non-Alcoholic Segments

The most recent investment was inaugurated on December 15, in the municipality of Carambeí (PR).

Ambev invested over R$ 1 billion in the construction of a glass factory with the capacity to produce 600 million bottles per year.

The unit will play a central role in expanding the fastest growing segments in the national market: premium beers and non-alcoholic versions.

Since 2019, premium labels like Spaten, Corona, Stella Artois, and Original have recorded 200% growth, currently representing almost 30% of the volume produced

Innovation and Digitization Enhance Connection with the Consumer

Innovation and digitization have also become strategic pillars of the company.

Thus, Zé Delivery, the largest beverage delivery app in the country, grew over 30% in the number of orders in the third quarter of 2025.

In its relationship with small and medium retailers, the platform BEES serves more than 1.1 million points of sale.

These digital solutions enhance data collection and analysis, allowing for testing new products, identifying trends, and customizing offers.

Portfolio Follows New Consumption Trends

Thus, strengthening the relationship with the consumer reflects in the growth of beers with fewer calories, such as Stella Pure Gold and Michelob Ultra.

“By combining technology with a strong and widespread industry, we can move the needle now while directing our business towards a sustainable path in the coming years.

All of this will allow us to grow and continue as an important engine of the national economy,” concluded Anna Paula Alves.
