A minimum amount of R$ 150 will be donated by Ambev from purchases made by consumers in the Zé Delivery app throughout Brazil

The company, which for the second year will provide assistance to professionals, has been distributing income to workers registered on the platform "Partners of other carnivals“, in the case of street vendors, and for waste pickers, through the National Association of Pickers and Pickers of Recyclable Materials (ANCAT). The idea is that they mobilize a series of local cooperatives to register and pay these people.

The Ambev project has a partnership with the Zé Delivery beverage app throughout Brazil and works like this: all orders placed through the delivery platform, between February 27th and March 13th, will generate a donation of R$5. amount will be added at the end of the term and divided among all program users.

And how many people are we talking about? According to Ambev, the initial expectation is to serve something around 23 pickers and street vendors. All income raised in the action will be divided and distributed equally to the number of registered.

In all, the brewery allocated R$ 5 million to the initiative that will benefit professionals from the cities of São Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Belo Horizonte (MG), Recife and Olinda (PE), Florianópolis (SC), Brasília (DF) and Bahia.
