The company has agreements for its offshore drilling rigs for Brazil, the Gulf of Mexico in the USA, and the North Sea in the UK. It starts the year 2023 with high expectations for the coming months.

It stated on Friday that it has new agreements in the Gulf of Mexico in the USA and the North Sea in the UK, in addition to an extension on its contract in Brazil.
In the national territory, the French oil company TotalEnergies exercised an extension option for the drillship VALARIS DS-15.
With this extension, it is expected that the drillship GustoMSC P10000 will remain booked until December 2023. TotalEnergies still has one remaining option lasting 100 days for drilling operations with one of the offshore rigs.
In the North Sea of the UK, Harbour Energy exercised two one-year options for the Valaris 120 jack-up rig for heavy-duty and harsh environment services from Valaris.
The start of the first period is scheduled for July of this year, marking the market expansion of Valaris in the UK.
The offshore drilling rig is expected to remain at Harbor until July 2025, as per one of the contracts with the company.
Company Expands Its Operations in the UK with New Contracts for Its Offshore Drilling Rigs
For the Valaris 121 jack-up rig, Petrofac awarded Valaris a contract for one well in the North Sea of the UK.
With an estimated duration of 70 to 100 days, the agreement is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2023.
After the completion of this contract, the rig will transition in October to an assignment awarded by Shell in the UK.
North Sea Natural Resources has granted it a contract for one well for the heavy-duty and ultra-harsh service Valaris Norway jack-up rig, thus marking another project in the UK.
Finally, in the Gulf of Mexico, in the USA, Talos will charter Valaris 144 rig, with an estimated duration of 30 days.
The new contracts from Valaris for its offshore drilling rigs mark another advancement in the company’s expansion in the global market.
