The Army's Escola de Sergeant de Armas (ESA) had a tender notice published with the offer of 1.100 mid-level vacancies. The initial salary paid will be R$ 3.825,00. There are chances for both sexes for the contest, in the general area 100 chances are foreseen for women and 900 vacancies for men. In addition, 45 opportunities will be for musicians and another 55 for the health area.

General area/aviation Being chances for the infantry, cavalry, artillery, engineering, communication, war material – Auto vehicle maintenance, war material – armament maintenance, war material – operator mechanic, war material – armored vehicle maintenance, communications maintenance , topography, stewardship, aviation-maintenance.

Music area – 45 slots for MIB clarinet/SIB clarinet, C flute/C piccolo, SIB baritone saxhorn/SIB bass saxhorn, MIB saxophone/SIB saxophone, timpani, bass drum, cymbals, snare drum and snare drum, tenor trombone in BIB (record), bass trombone in BIB (record), horn in F, trumpet in MIB/SIB – bugle in BSI/flueglhorne in BIB, tuba in MIB/tuba in BIB.

Requirements 

To apply for the contest, you must have completed high school; be at least 17 and a maximum of 24 years old, with the exception of the health and music armies area, whose maximum age will be 26 years old until the end of enrollment, be at least 1,60 m tall in the case of gender male, and 1,55 if female.

It is also worth adding that Officers or aspiring officers on active duty in the Armed Forces or in the Auxiliary Forces cannot compete.

ESA Army 2020 vacancy contest registration

Registration opened yesterday, February 19. The registration period runs until March 18. Registration fee of R$ 95 is charged.

Only minor children and ex-combatants of the Second World War, incapacitated in action, can request exemption from the fee; low-income family members; enrolled in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (Cad Único); and bone marrow donors.

The deadline for requesting an exemption runs from February 19th to 21st, the list of exempt persons should be released on the 27th of the same month.
