Despite the current problems regarding cargo handling in Brazil, the company Asia Shipping argues that the year 2022 will be favorable for the export of goods and warns of the need for improvements in transport logistics for the market

The company focused on freight transport logistics, Asia Shipping, has good projections for the Brazilian market in terms of exports during the year 2022. Until this Monday, (30/05), the company believes that this year will be responsible for a big growth in these operations and that relations with the international market will become even stronger over the coming months.

The year 2022 will be responsible for a leap in export operations of goods to the international market, according to projections by Asia Shipping

The international market is still going through serious problems left by the Covid-19 pandemic and now also by the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, which has strongly impacted the product sales chain. However, despite the current unstable moment for these businesses, the multinational Asia Shipping believes that the year 2022 will be the year of Brazilian export of goods and that the country will strengthen its ties with the international market.

Thus, the company is preparing for growth in its business during the coming months of the year and is projecting good results. This is because, during the first quarter of 2022 alone, Asia Shipping expanded its export operations by 42% and is now aiming to close 2022 with growth 10% higher than the national market average.

The company also argues that it has good export logistics and solid partnerships in the international market to continue growing throughout the year and take advantage of the growth projections of operations in the country. The situation for the month of May was not so favorable for these operations in the international market due to congestion in Asian ports, which caused a strong deficit in export operations.

In addition, the price of international freight increased throughout the beginning of the year. However, Asia Shipping believes that the second half of the year will be marked by greater market stability and more favorable business opportunities, with a focus on the international goods market.

The company's partnerships continue to grow and SerraBRAS comments on the importance of export logistics relations with the multinational

With the aim of taking advantage of the favorable projections for the export logistics of goods during the second half of 2022, Asia Shipping continues to focus on its current partnerships in the domestic market. And, among them, SerraBRAS is one of the most solid, since the company offers export logistics solutions for the timber company, which exports components for the manufacture of pallets in the most diverse thicknesses, widths and lengths, focusing on markets in Central America, Mexico and the United States.

And, just like Asia Shipping, the company saw strong growth in exports during the beginning of the year, since, in the first quarter of that year alone, the index reached 30% growth in relation to the volumes exported in the same period of 2021. The company highlighted that the multinational was essential on this journey, especially during the logistical chaos of the pandemic.

Finally, Tiago Miranda, commercial director at SerraBRAS, commented on the partnership and concluded: “Exports have grown, but the supply of space has not kept pace. In this scenario of lack of containers and space on ships, Asia Shipping was able to supply our products and always showed flexibility to seek the best solution and meet the needs of the customer. In 2020, we transported 2,2 containers with the Brazilian multinational, jumping to 2,8 last year”.
