Baru Offshore Starts Its Selection Process in Rio de Janeiro with New Opportunities This Wednesday, May 22.

With offices in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, and Peru, it is now the company’s turn to initiate selection processes to meet its contracts in national territory, and it announced this Wednesday, May 22, through its official news outlet opportunities in Rio de Janeiro for offshore and onshore administrative roles.

Baru Offshore was founded in 2010 as a provider of support vessels for the oil and gas industry in its exploration and production activities along the coast. The company has offices in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, and Peru to satisfy the growing demand for offshore support services in the region, with modern and versatile owned and/or chartered vessels operated under the highest quality and service standards required by the industry.

Baru Offshore is part of the same INTERTUG group, a leading tugboat service company operating in Colombia, Honduras, Jamaica, the Caribbean in general, and Mexico. As a group, we operate a fleet of over 40 vessels including tugboats, PSV, AHTS, FSV, among others.

QSMS Assistant

Requirements

    • Carry out the recruitment and selection process onshore and offshore
    • Execute the routines described in the Integrated Management System (SGI) in Occupational Safety, Environmental, and Occupational Health such as monitoring routines on board, SMS inspections, and audits;

  • Receive, control, check, and file SMS-related records and other documents;
  • Conduct and participate in pre-embarkation meetings;
  • Execute SMS Training;
  • Execute PCP – Pollution Control Program and PEAT – Environmental Education Program for Workers
  • 2 years of experience in the area

Human Resources Analyst

Requirements

  • Carry out the recruitment and selection process onshore and offshore;
  • Search and screen resumes;
  • Assist in the integration of new employees;
  • Evaluate candidates for each position according to the job descriptions and the company’s competency system;
  • Expertise in the competency matrix and maritime certification;
