The Canadian Company HOVSCO Created The HovBeta 2.0, A Foldable Electric Bike With A 720-Watt Battery That Provides A Range Of Up To 96 Kilometers
A company based in Canada launched a revolutionary foldable electric bike that promises to be perfect for tackling any type of terrain, including pothole-riddled streets and even snow. HOVSCO, a company specializing in electric bikes, created the HovBeta 2.0 with the strong claim of being able to replace a motorcycle for daily commuting.
The e-bike manufacturer claims that it is ideal for riding in the city, on sandy beaches, and in the countryside, due to its 4-inch wide durable tires that do not get stuck easily. This versatility makes the foldable electric bike suitable for a variety of environments.
The model is built entirely from aluminum and features a robust 750-watt motor. With pedal assist, the bike has a range of up to 96.5 kilometers, thanks to its 720-watt battery that is hidden within the frame tube.

Ducati brings to Brazil the Superleggera V4 Centenario: 228 hp that become 247 with a track kit, carbon fiber and carbon-ceramic brakes, estimated price between R$ 1.5 and 2 million, deliveries only in 2027.
In fully electric mode, meaning you’re not pedaling, the range is reduced to 64 kilometers.
To increase the likelihood of the foldable electric bike being purchased as a substitute for a personal motorcycle, HOVSCO offers many customization options. An additional compartment, for example, can be used to store work items or an extra passenger on the back.
The bike has an initial weight of 30 kg and a maximum load capacity of 204 kg. To compete in the mid-market segment, HOVSCO’s electric bike costs US$ 1,800, approximately R$ 9,400 at current exchange rates. This price is considered affordable, taking into account the technology involved.

The foldable electric bike was designed for people living in cold countries, as during the winter, it is typically time to keep the bike stored at home due to snow. HOVSCO aimed to change this with the creation of the HovBeta 2.0.
So far, the e-bike is only sold in its country of origin, Canada. There are currently no indications that it will be marketed in other countries. Of course, this will depend on its success and acceptance in the market. If it sells well, we may soon see one of these e-bikes on the streets of Brazil.
