BYD Surprises at the Automotive Black Friday with Discounts of Up to R$ 40 Thousand on the Song Line; See Prices and Reasons for the Great Cost-Effectiveness.
BYD Launches Super Discounts on Black Friday and Turns the Song Pro into the Highlight of Automotive Cost-Effectiveness
BYD decided to shake up the automotive sector this Black Friday. The brand announced discounts of up to R$ 40 thousand on the Song SUV line, creating one of the most aggressive actions in the market.
The offers are already valid throughout Brazil. The cuts make some models cheaper than their entry-level versions. That’s why the campaign gained so much visibility.
The Chinese automaker bets on this strategy to increase sales. Additionally, it wants to expand the reach of the Song Pro, currently one of the most sought-after hybrid SUVs in the country.

The campaign highlights the Song Pro, which received the most competitive discount in its category. It also gained new technologies. Thus, BYD tries to reinforce its image as a brand of better cost-effectiveness among hybrid SUVs in the Brazilian market.
Song Pro Attracts Consumers with R$ 20 Thousand Discount and Updated Look
The main highlight of BYD’s automotive Black Friday is the Song Pro, which now appears in its GS version with a R$ 20 thousand discount, lowering its price from R$ 199,990 to R$ 179,990. Thus, the final price is even lower than that of the entry-level version, the GL, listed at R$ 189,990.
Although the discount is the main attraction, the model also received significant upgrades for the 2026 line. It now offers an ADAS system, which includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function; lane-keeping assist with centering; automatic high beams; and collision alerts with emergency braking and blind spot detection.
Furthermore, the Song Pro measures 4,738 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 2,712 mm in wheelbase, surpassing direct competitors in size. Even with a 520-liter trunk, smaller than that of the Song Plus, the SUV remains competitive.
The powertrain uses the DM-i plug-in hybrid system, with a combined power of 235 hp and around 30.6 kgfm of torque, plus an 18.3 kWh battery, reinforcing the argument of cost-effectiveness for the line.
Song Plus Also Joins the Automotive Black Friday with Up to R$ 25 Thousand Discount
The Song Plus, another member of the family, also received highlights this Black Friday. The SUV, listed at R$ 249,990, can be found with a discount of up to R$ 25 thousand, going for R$ 224,990.
To enhance its appeal, the model arrives for the 2026 line with the same exterior as the more sophisticated Premium version. It measures 4,775 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, 1,670 mm in height, and 2,765 mm in wheelbase, in addition to offering a 574-liter trunk — which can reach 1,477 liters with the rear seats folded down.
Despite the new design, the mechanics remain similar to the current line, including an updated 1.5 engine, producing 105 hp and 13.8 kgfm of torque. The electric motor reaches 194 hp and 33.1 kgfm, with a combined power of 235 hp and increased charging capacity from 3.3 kW to 6.6 kW.
Thus, the model reinforces its cost-effectiveness appeal, as it combines size, range, and technology with reduced prices during the automotive Black Friday.
Song Plus Premium Offers the Largest Discount in the Line: R$ 40 Thousand
The largest discount of the campaign goes to the Song Plus Premium, the top-of-the-line version launched in 2024 and incorporated into the 2026 range. It drops from R$ 299,800 to R$ 259,990, marking the highest cut of the automotive Black Friday.
The Premium version delivers a more robust powertrain, with a 1.5 turbo engine and two electric motors — one front with 204 hp and one rear with 163 hp. The battery has also been increased to 26.6 kWh, replacing the previously used 18.3 kWh battery.
Additionally, the design follows the Ocean X line standard, reinforcing the modernity and premium appeal of the configuration.
Why Does BYD Bet on Aggressive Prices This Automotive Black Friday?
BYD has been growing rapidly in Brazil, and therefore used Black Friday as a strategic opportunity to consolidate these SUVs among the models with the highest cost-effectiveness in the automotive sector.
The significant discounts reinforce the goal of expanding the customer base and reaching consumers looking for efficient, technological hybrids at more accessible prices.
With reductions of up to R$ 40 thousand, the Song line stands out among the strongest promotions of the month, boosting competition in the hybrid SUV automotive market.
