When Will the Mining Company’s Venture Be Built?

According to the state governor, Aclara has experience in rare earths and employs modern technology. The project will be implemented in one of the most deprived regions of Goiás, without causing any negative impact.

In fact, the expectation is that there will be a positive impact, with more than 5,700 job vacancies opened with the investments. With the venture, the state will become an important hub in the segment.

Vice Governor Daniel Vilela emphasized the mining company’s investments, and the government aims to invest in its state, in the region most in need of job vacancies, a place that relies heavily on the public sector for human and social development. The arrival of Aclara Resources will transform Nova Roma.

The rare earth venture is expected to be built within two years, during which the generation of job vacancies will begin, and production will start in 62 months. During the installation of the unit in Goiás, the company will partner with educational institutions to train and qualify local or regional labor. The priority is to find people, products, and services from Goiás.

Understand the Objective of the Mining Company’s Investments in Brazil

Aclara Mining Company, which already operates in Chile, aims to bring to Brazil a sustainable rare earth venture, without the use of explosives or liquid waste production. Furthermore, the company avoids the creation of waste dams and treats the used water with an equivalent rate of 95% reutilization.

According to Ramón Gino Barúa Costa, the CEO of the mining company, this project aims to accelerate the licensing and development process of the Carina project, producing sustainably with a focus on socioeconomic growth. A bright future is being built for the state, establishing a reference as a sustainable and strategic project for the energy transition.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of Industry, Commerce, and Services, Joel Sant’Anna, claims that what is being done in Goiás is the technological evolution of a highly qualified company that raises funds on the stock market and also where all the mineral circulates. The mining company will bring an evolution to Nova Roma with minimal environmental damage.

Positive Impacts of New Investments in Rare Earths

A study presented by the mining company indicates that the installation of the unit in Nova Roma aims to elevate social and economic development in the municipality. According to the Secretary of the Environment, Andréa Vulcanis, it is a large-scale investment, and all environmental criteria will be required as for any other venture in the state.

The technology applied in this type of rare earth mining does not involve large pits, there will be no tailings dam, as there is more advanced technology that reduces many environmental impacts, with control to be exercised over impacts on both the physical and biotic environments, caring for fauna, flora, but also for people. Rare earth minerals are rich in chemical elements.
