Record Growth Drives The Sector With New Opportunities And Positions Brazil As A Global Reference In The Electronics Sector
The Brazilian electronics sector is on the rise! During a meeting with the Vice President and Minister of Government Development, Geraldo Alckmin, the National Association of Electronics Manufacturers (Eletros) announced an impressive growth in sales and revealed bold investment plans . With a 29% increase in sales from January to September 2024 compared to the same period last year, the sector projects an annual growth of 25%, the best mark in a decade, according to the Gov website.
Growth Driven By Quality Of Life And Industrial Policies
The positive performance reflects the improvement in the quality of life of the Brazilian population under the Government. According to Alckmin, the increase in employment and income has allowed most consumers to acquire durable goods, such as TVs and refrigerators, with higher energy efficiency and superior quality. Additionally, policies such as the New Industry Brazil program create a stable environment for investors.
The result? A heated economy under the Government, driven by the consumption of established goods and the expansion of the national industry. Government data indicate that, in the first nine months of 2024, 83.8 million units of electronics products were sold, compared to 65 million in the same period of 2023, a leap in the economy.

R$ 5 Billion In Investments For Expansion And Innovation
The Government is making a big bet on the future of the sector and the economy. Favorable Economic Environment
The distribution of income and the generation of jobs build consumer confidence, driving purchases of established goods.
Climate Change
The rise in temperatures increases demand for fans and air conditioning units, consolidating Brazil as the second-largest production hub for this segment in the world.
