BRF, Owner of Sadia, Will Make Investments to Modernize and Expand Its Units in the State of Paraná. Many Jobs May Be Generated
The major brand BRF announced yesterday (05/04) that it will invest R$ 292 million in the state of Paraná, where numerous job openings are expected to be generated. The investments announced by BRF, through a videoconference, will be allocated to the expansion and modernization of its units. The company also announced that it will resume turkey production in the municipality of Francisco Beltrão, after the plant received authorization to export to Mexico.

Investments and Jobs from BRF in Paraná
BRF’s CEO, Lorival Luz, stated during the videoconference that the company has a strong presence in the state of Paraná, where it generates approximately 18,500 direct jobs and works with over 2,000 producers through integration. The CEO mentioned that he aims to provide more jobs in the state of Paraná, always advancing the company’s agenda that has a vision for growth until 2030.
The governor of the state of Paraná, Ratinho Júnior, said that BRF has a great vocation in the state to produce quality food for the whole world. He emphasized his concern for healthy food, which will be generated through modern agriculture.

Expansion of Operations and Resumption of Production by BRF in Paraná
One of BRF’s first steps in the expansion of its unit operation will be to integrate more than 200 poultry farms, also producing chicken meat. The breeding is scheduled to start in November, to ensure that the plant’s daily production is estimated at 7,500 by the second quarter of 2022. The new production line will generate over 400 direct jobs.
The process that allowed BRF to export turkey to Mexico was completed in March this year and included an 8-hour audit of the factory via videoconference, where Mexican government auditors conducted real-time inspections of all stages of production. This is the first video analysis of turkey exports conducted by Brazil.
