Neuza Miranda Takes Office Aiming to Optimize the Occupational Safety Area and Raise the Quality Standards of Group Services
Bureau Veritas, a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), announces Neuza Miranda as the new QHSE director, an acronym for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, in Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. With over 23 years of experience, the executive assumes the position with the mission of further improving the Occupational Safety indicators, aiming for the expansion of the Group’s field operations. Among the strategies of the new leader are strengthening the organizational culture and developing people.

Only in Brazil, our team is made up of more than 6,000 employees working in different sectors and regions of the country. It is necessary to have an attentive look at individual needs and the specificities of each business area to ensure the well-being and safety of all, optimize operations and maintain the Group’s standard of excellence,” says Neuza Miranda, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) director at Bureau Veritas. To face the different challenges of the various operational areas of the Group, the executive will focus her strategic vision on consistent improvement of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment programs and processes and on developing a high-performance team.
With more than 23 years of experience in large multinationals, Neuza Miranda is one of the first women to enter the sector and one of the few in a leadership position. At Bureau Veritas, Miranda is the second woman to lead the area. The new director emphasizes the importance of more companies recognizing female talent in QHSE for the market to progress with gender parity. Neuza holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Health, Safety and Environment.
