Futuristic Model From Chinese Manufacturer Features Adventurous Look, Unique Technology, and Powerful 100% Electric Motorization
The BYD electric SUV Bao 3, known for its robust appearance and the presence of a drone on the roof, has just been registered with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). The model is set to be launched in the Brazilian market as B3, under the Denza brand, and is part of the Fang Cheng Bao sub-brand, specialized in off-road focused SUVs. According to information from AutoEsporte, this is yet another bet by BYD to expand its portfolio of electric vehicles in Brazil with bold and innovative proposals.
BYD Electric SUV Combines Power and Radical Look
The new BYD electric SUV impresses with its robust design and angular lines. With 18 or 19-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, the model has proportions similar to the Song Plus, measuring 4.61 m in length, 1.88 m in width, and a wheelbase of 2.75 m. The standard height is 1.72 m, but it can reach 1.92 m with the drone structure installed. The SUV also features an external cargo compartment in place of the traditional spare tire, reinforcing its adventurous style. According to AutoEsporte, the major highlight of the model is the integrated drone platform on the roof, positioning the utility as one of the most futuristic in the segment.
Motorization of BYD Electric SUV Delivers Sporty Performance
The BYD electric SUV B3 is equipped with two electric motors: 148 hp in the front axle and 268 hp in the rear, totaling 416 hp of combined power. This setup ensures all-wheel drive and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. According to AutoEsporte, the model is powered by a 78.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering up to 500 km of range in the Chinese CLTC cycle — a figure that positions the B3 among the electric vehicles with the greatest range in its category in Brazil.

The utility also features active suspension, torque management, and the “God’s Eye” semi-autonomous driving system, which offers intelligent support for the driver. The cabin, according to AutoEsporte, is designed for both comfort and robustness, blending luxury and resilience in a sophisticated environment.
