New car from Caoa Chery impresses with a range of up to 2.100 km. The new Chery Fulwin T10 SUV also impresses in terms of numbers, performance and design, check out the details!
The new Chery Fulwin T10, Chery's new SUV, achieved an unprecedented feat by traveling more than 2.000 km without needing to refuel, joining the famous Guinness Book, the record book. Caoa Chery's plug-in hybrid SUV left Shangri-La with a full tank and battery and arrived in Zhuhai, China, without refueling. In total, 2.100 km were driven, surpassing the previous record by 300 km.
Chery's new SUV delivers up to 610 hp
The Caoa Chery model arrived at dealerships last Thursday (25) with two seating configurations, with five or six seats. The Chery Fulwin T10 will also be available with front or all-wheel drive.
However, the new SUV from Chery is not the first Chinese car to be included in Guinness. At the beginning of July, the Fang Cheng Bao 5, a jeep from one of BYD's sub-brands that will be shown in Brazil soon, took the title of plug-in hybrid vehicle to reach the highest altitude, running at 5.980 meters high.

The Chery Fulwin T10 is 4,85 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2,82 m, weighing between 1.935 with five seats and 2.069 kg (six seats). Its hybrid system, however, combines a 1.6 turbo with 154 hp and 22,4 kgfm to an electric engine in front-wheel drive configuration, developing 375 hp and 62,2 kgfm.
In its all-wheel drive version, there are two electric motors to deliver up to 610 hp of power and 97,9 kgfm of torque. In the top option of Chery's new SUV, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in 4,9 seconds and the maximum speed is 240 km/h.

In terms of autonomy, the new Chery 4×2 SUV can travel up to 210 km only in electric mode, but this is in accordance with the generous Chinese CLTC cycle, and has a gasoline consumption of 17,4 km/h. The 4×4 has an electric range of 200 km under the same conditions and achieves 14,7 km/l. Both can have the 34,5 kWh battery charged at fast charging stations from 30 to 80% in 18 minutes.
In the cabin of the new Chery Fulwin T10 there is a huge 24,6-inch curved screen that integrates the instrument panel and the multimedia center.
In addition, it features a 50-inch head-up display with augmented reality with a Qualcomm Snaptragon 8155 chip. Finally, it receives driving assistance technologies such as rear collision alert, blind spot monitoring, driver fatigue detector, among others.
Other automakers also promise to offer autonomy similar to the Caoa model
In addition to this new Caoa Chery model, the Toyota also plans to bring its new Toyota Corolla in 2026, with a range of 2.100 km. This is an exceptional range, which exceeds BYD's projection for its 5.0 generation of the DM-i platform, which is 2.000 km.
This means that Toyota's new car will be able to go from São Paulo to Salvador with just one tank and still have a reserve of 100 km at the end of the trip. To make this possible, the new generation of Japanese engines will be the pillar of change, with a 1.5 four-cylinder engine with double injection, Miller cycle and more efficient electronic management.
