Microsoft and SENAI-SP Expand Cybersecurity Training with the CyBR Program, Which Will Train 50,000 Professionals by 2026.
The Training in Cybersecurity will receive a significant boost after a new agreement signed between Microsoft and SENAI-SP, announced this Tuesday (9) in São Paulo.
Furthermore, the initiative stems from the strengthening of the CyBR Program, aiming to train 50,000 people in digital security by the end of 2026.
The project will be conducted at SENAI-SP units and on an online platform, with courses that combine theory, practice, applied Artificial Intelligence, and attack simulations.

Thus, the partnership aims to respond to the growing demand for specialists in cybersecurity defense, especially in light of the rise of digital scams in Brazil and worldwide.
Moreover, the action is justified by the escalation of attacks and the lack of qualified professionals in the sector. In 2023 alone, Brazil recorded 60 billion attempts of cyber invasions, and the digital security market grows more than 16% per year.
Therefore, the program intends to broaden access to technical knowledge and prepare new talents for the challenges of the digital economy.
Microsoft and SENAI-SP Strengthen the CyBR Program
The agreement expands the reach of the CyBR Program, created by Microsoft and executed by SENAI-SP, which expands Cybersecurity Training for teachers, students, and external interested parties.
The focus is to offer quality training, fully aligned with the current demands of the industry and global security trends.
Among the initial stages is the advanced training of instructors in strategic areas, such as:
Cybersecurity Architecture (SC-100)
Security Operations Analysis (SC-200)
Identity and Access Administration (SC-300)
Security in Azure, Microsoft’s cloud
These professionals will be knowledge multipliers, disseminating digital protection techniques to their students and communities.
Online Course Expands Access to Knowledge in Digital Security
Thus, another aspect of the project is the launch of a free online course through the SENAI-SP platform, open to both students and the general public.
The content covers everything from basic security fundamentals to good cyber hygiene practices, in a path inspired by the SC-900 exam.
The program includes:
Creating Strong Passwords
Multi-Factor Authentication
Protecting Personal Data
Identifying Scams and Phishing Attacks
Principles of Zero Trust
Governance and Privacy in the Cloud
Identity and Access Management
With simulations and practical exercises, participants apply what they learn in real scenarios, strengthening their ability to prevent risks and improve security in the digital environment.
Heated Demand for Cybersecurity Specialists
According to Brasscom, Brazil ranks 12th in the global cybersecurity market and is expected to invest R$ 104.6 billion between 2025 and 2028.
The demand for professionals is growing rapidly, driven by the increase in connected infrastructures and the intensive use of Artificial Intelligence.
Moreover, in this context, the Cybersecurity Training provided by the CyBR Program positions young people and adults in a market with high employability potential.
Statements Reinforce the Impact of the Initiative
“The initiative reinforces our commitment to prepare young people for the challenges of the digital age. By equipping them with cybersecurity skills, we are enabling them to thrive safely in today’s digital world,” stated Lisa Monaco, President of Global Affairs at Microsoft.
Thus, for the SENAI-SP, the project represents a milestone. “We are creating real opportunities for young people and adults, boosting employability and contributing to a safer and more competitive Brazil,” highlighted Emerson Costa Santos, Director of the institution.
ConectAI: Artificial Intelligence as a Driving Force
Moreover, the partnership integrates the ConectAI program, an initiative by Microsoft Brazil aiming to train 5 million Brazilians in Artificial Intelligence by 2027. Over 2.5 million have already been trained, reinforcing the strategy to expand digital inclusion and democratize advanced technologies.
