Chery Announced the Arrival of a New Affordable Electric Car for Under R$ 70,000. The Vehicle Will Feature 408 Km of Range and Various State-of-the-Art Technologies.
The new affordable electric car from Chery, named Unbounded Pro (QQ Wujie Pro) was officially launched in the Chinese market this Wednesday (23) with five trim levels and two range options of 301 km and 408 km. A few days after the release of the first images, the electric vehicle from Chery, the Chinese giant, debuts as yet another option for zero-emission urban cars in a sector that continues to grow abundantly.
New Affordable Electric Car Focuses on Design with Angular Lines
Being highly competitive, like most local competitors in the electric mini-car and subcompact sector, the Chery Unbounded Pro is somewhat of a cousin to the famous Caoa Chery iCar, sold in the Chinese market as Chery eQ1.
The new model costs between 89,900 and 112,900 yuan, equivalent to R$ 66,900 and R$ 74,100 based on current exchange rates. Known as QQ Wujie Pro in China, the small electric car has a very different look from the previous models of the brand.

Chery’s Affordable Electric Car Features New Technologies Onboard
Designed for four occupants, the electric car has a very simple interior that resembles the theme used on the exterior, where the steering wheel, door trims, and dashboard are adorned with orange details. Leather-trimmed seats are standard, and the model also features a small panoramic sunroof.
The digital instrument cluster features a 7-inch (17.78 cm) screen, and the infotainment system has a 12.9” display, allowing access to the car’s main settings.
Connected to the Chery New Energy app, a smartphone can act as a remote control for the car, allowing users to unlock the door, locate the vehicle, lower the windows, and activate heating or cooling functions.
The affordable model from the Chinese manufacturer is equipped with a third-generation Qualcomm 6155 processor designed for automobiles, which enables a panoramic view of the surroundings, combining a 360-degree and a 180-degree front image with the help of the chip.
Electric Car Features a Range of 408 Km
The small Chery electric vehicle comes equipped with essential assistance and safety features such as lane departure alert, collision warning, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, door open warning, and other additional resources, which stand out in the sector.
In terms of performance, the urban car offers two versions with electric motors producing 74 or 95 horsepower and 15.3 or 12.2 kgfm of torque, with batteries of 28.8 or 40.2 kWh providing a range of 301 or 408 km respectively. Both models support fast/slow charging and even bidirectional charging.
