The Second Edition of the ‘Enem of Competitions’ Will Have 3,352 Federal Vacancies. Announcement in July, Objective Tests in October 2025.
The Ministry of Management announced this Monday (28) the details of CNU 2025. The second edition of the Unified National Public Contest will offer 3,352 vacancies. The opportunities are distributed across 35 federal agencies and institutes. The initiative is popularly known as the “Enem of Competitions”.
The CNU 2025 centralizes several competitions authorized for federal servers into a single exam. The new information was released by the Minister of Management, Esther Dweck. The announcement took place at a press conference this Monday.
How Will the Vacancies of CNU 2025 Be: Immediate and Reserve Registration
In total, the CNU 2025 will offer 3,352 vacancies. Of these, 2,180 are for immediate hiring. There will be 1,672 vacancies for higher education. There will also be 508 vacancies for direct hiring at the medium level. The other 1,172 vacancies will form a reserve list. The federal government expects to appoint those approved from the reserve list in the short term. The positions in the competition are organized into 9 thematic blocks (areas of activity).

Important Dates: Announcement, Tests, and Results of CNU 2025
The timeline for the CNU 2025 already has forecasts. The complete announcement is expected to be published in July 2025. The tests will occur in two main stages:
- Objective Test: October 5, 2025.
- Discursive Test: December 7, 2025 (only for those qualified in the objective). Up to nine times the number of vacancies per position will be summoned for the second phase. The release of the final results is expected for February 2026.
Which Agencies Participate in CNU 2025? See the List
In total, 35 federal agencies and institutes joined the CNU 2025. The list includes ministries, regulatory agencies, and foundations. The tests are expected to be applied in 228 cities, just like in the first edition. It is important to note that those approved will not only work in Brasília. There will be opportunities in several states (e.g.: 315 in RJ, 65 in SP).

Organizing Bank and Comparison with the First CNU
The organizing bank of the CNU 2025 will still be chosen. The definition is expected by mid-June 2025. In the first edition of the CNU, held in 2024, the bank was Cesgranrio. The first unified contest offered 6,640 immediate vacancies across 21 agencies. The starting salaries reached R$ 22,9 thousand. It was the largest contest in the country by the number of applicants, with nearly 1 million candidates participating.
