How the “Enem of Competitions” Tests Will Be Conducted
The CNU 2025 will have two main phases. The first, on October 5, will apply objective tests for all candidates. Thus, those competing for higher education will answer 90 questions, while high school candidates will answer 68 questions.
The second phase, on December 7, will feature discursive tests, with two questions for higher education and one essay for high school.
Additionally, the process will include evaluation of titles, verification of quotas, and, in some cases, training courses. The result of the first phase will be released on November 12, followed by the call for the final stage.
Quotas, Inclusion, and Gender Parity
The new CNU 2025 brings important changes to the quota policies, making the process more inclusive and diverse. Now, 35% of the positions are allocated to affirmative actions, expanding opportunities for historically underrepresented groups.
Of this total, 25% are for black and mixed-race individuals, 3% for indigenous peoples, 2% for quilombolas, and 5% for people with disabilities (PcD).
Furthermore, the announcement guarantees gender parity in the second phase. Thus, at least 50% of those approved will be women.
If this percentage is not met in the objective test scores, more female candidates will be called, ensuring balance and equal chances.
Where the CNU 2025 Positions Are Located
The 3,652 positions in CNU 2025 are distributed throughout Brazil, ensuring regional balance and democratic access. The Federal District holds the largest number of opportunities, with 2,089 positions in major federal agencies.
Additionally, there are 135 positions in the North, 165 in the Northeast, 814 in the Southeast, 54 in the South, and 4 in the Midwest, as well as 391 flexible positions, adjusted according to the government’s needs.
According to the Ministry of Management, “this measure does not take any position away from anyone; it only guarantees equal conditions between men and women”, reinforcing the commitment to inclusion and parity.
