Renovigi, A Renewable Energy Company, Operates in Solar Power Supply and Solar Panel Installations in Various Regions
The installation of solar panels in homes has gained focus in recent years, especially in the Brazilian Northeast. Renovigi, a company specialized in solar power generation, is betting on the region for solar energy supply and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

A qualified company, Renovigi is investing around 30 million in a new assembly plant near the Port of Pecém, in the municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante, Ceará. The idea is to combine solar energy with electric vehicles, as they emit no greenhouse gases.
The equipment that generates power, provided for electric cars, has been named RenoCharge, costing between R$ 8,000 and R$ 20,000 on average. It is an AC recharger for electric and/or plug-in hybrid vehicle batteries, with technology developed in partnership with Incharge, a manufacturer of electric mobility chargers.

According to Renovigi’s president, Gustavo Muller Martins, “our business will be selling chargers that integrate the house with the car; the equipment will be interconnected at home, in the shopping mall, at the store, on the roof, on the lot. The panels send solar energy directly to the car.”
Solar Energy and Electric Cars
The president believes that the electric car will be the vehicle of the future for urban areas, with many European cities already banning the circulation of combustion cars (fossil fuels), which is expected to arrive in Brazil in the medium and long term. He also includes the “flying cars” from Embraer, which are expected to hit the market from 2026.
The equipment provided by Renovigi increases the range of electric cars (with tests proving its effectiveness), in addition to the ease of recharging the device.
The use of renewable energy has been growing year after year. A survey conducted in 2018 reported that capacity was around 4,800 MW, while today this figure is around 12,000 MW. The number is still low, when compared to its representation in the Brazilian electric matrix, which is only 2%. However, expectations for 2022 are high, as an increase in solar power generation is anticipated with the acquisition of solar panels, due to the prices consumers are finding in electricity tariffs.
