The National Mining Agency (ANM) announced this Friday, November 22, the awaited announcement for filling 220 positions in its staff. The opportunities cover 24 states, in addition to the Federal District, aimed at administrative analyst and mineral resources specialist positions. The starting salaries for the ANM competition range from R$ 10,527.94 to R$ 12,828.38, with a 40-hour work week.
Distribution of Positions for the ANM Competition
The ANM competition offers 220 positions distributed among various specialties. Of the total, 5% are reserved for people with disabilities, while 20% are reserved for black candidates, according to current legislation.
The positions require a complete higher education degree, and each specialty has specific requirements, ensuring that the selected professionals have the appropriate education to meet the ANM’s demands.

Details of Administrative Analyst Positions
Administrative analysts will perform functions related to the administrative and logistical activities of the ANM, utilizing available resources and equipment to execute tasks.

- Administration: Bachelor’s Degree in Administration.
- Law: Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- Accounting: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Civil or Electrical Engineering (with specialization in Occupational Safety): Bachelor’s Degree in the field, with a minimum of 360 hours of specialization and registration with CREA.
- Journalism and Organizational Communication: Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields.
Positions of Mineral Resources Specialist
Specialists will work in areas directly related to the mineral sector, including promotion, oversight, and protection of mineral resources, as well as analyzing geological research and monitoring the mineral economy.

- Mining Engineering: Bachelor’s Degree in the field and registration with CREA.
- Geology: Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, with professional registration.
- Information Technology – Data Science: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, focused on governance and innovation.

Exams and Stages of the ANM Competition
The objective tests will have 120 questions, divided into:
- General Knowledge: 50 questions.
- Specific Knowledge: 70 questions.
Additionally, there will be essay tests, a title analysis, and a professional training course. The essay for the analyst position will have a limit of 30 lines and will be worth 20 points. For specialists, the dissertation may have up to 45 lines and be worth 30 points.
The titles presented by candidates may add up to 10 points in the final classification.
Registrations and Fees
Registrations will be conducted exclusively online, on the website of the organizing bank, Cebraspe. The registration fee will be R$ 160.00, applicable to both analysts and specialists. The dates for the start of registrations and the application of the tests will be announced soon.
