Golden Opportunity in Public Service: Goiás State Revenue Contest Offers High Salary, 300 Positions, and Applications Open Until July 10

If you were waiting for that little push from the universe to change your life, the contest for fiscal auditor at the Goiás State Revenue might be exactly what you need. The announcement has just been released and offers one of the most attractive salaries in the country: R$28,563.30. Yes, you read that right. And the best part: there are 200 immediate openings plus 100 for the reserve list.

But hold on, there’s more; the contest requires a complete higher education degree in any field, meaning you can aim high even coming from degrees outside the fiscal area. Applications are open from June 10 to July 10, with a fee of R$250. And if you meet the criteria, you can also request a fee waiver between May 22 and May 26.

What the Contest Announcement for Fiscal Auditor Provides

The announcement published by the Goiás Government is filled with important information, and more than that, it represents an excellent opportunity for those seeking stability, a strong salary, and the chance to work in one of the most competitive positions in state public service: fiscal auditor of the State Revenue.

The weekly workload will be 40 hours, and the selection will be organized by the Carlos Chagas Foundation, a well-known organization among candidates with a history of demanding and well-structured exams. So you know what to do: it’s time to catch up on your studies.

What Are the Available Positions?

The Contest for the Goiás State Revenue will offer:

  • 100 positions for the reserve list

All positions are for the role of fiscal auditor of the State Revenue, one of the most important functions within the state’s tax structure. The professional directly engages in tax audits, audits, and combatting tax evasion, among other technical and strategic activities.

What Degrees Are Accepted?

The announcement was quite democratic in this regard. Anyone with a complete higher education degree in any field can apply. This means that even those who do not come from traditional areas such as Law, Accounting, or Economics can participate. This opens up a wide range of possibilities.

Here are some examples of accepted degrees:

  • Administration
  • Law
  • Accounting Sciences
  • Economics
  • Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Mathematics
  • Languages
  • Pedagogy
  • Psychology
  • Journalism

Just have a graduation diploma recognized by the MEC, in any area.

How Will the Selection Process Work?

The selection will be divided into two stages. The first will be the objective test, composed of 80 questions on basic knowledge and 80 on specific knowledge. This test will be held in two shifts (morning and afternoon) on the same day: August 31.

The second stage will be a title evaluation, which is classificatory. In other words, it does not eliminate the candidate, but helps improve their ranking. This stage usually favors those who already have a postgraduate degree, master’s, or doctorate.

The preliminary results of the objective tests will be released on September 19, and the final result of the State Revenue Contest will be announced on November 25.

Schedule for the Contest for Fiscal Auditor of the State Revenue:

  • May 22-26: period to request a fee waiver
  • June 10-July 10: application period
  • August 31: objective test date
  • September 19: preliminary test results
  • November 25: final contest results

The address is: https://www.concursosfcc.com.br
Pay attention to the deadline: from June 10 to July 10. If you miss this period, you’ll have to wait for the next contest, and there is no indication of when that will happen again.
