In the midst of a growing search for stable and well-paying 43 thousand positions in public competitions are open throughout Brazil.
The selections cover municipal, state, and federal agencies, include all levels of education, and offer salaries that range from R$ 1,200 to R$ 44 thousand.
The positions were announced over the past week by various institutions, including IBGE, Legislative Assemblies, city halls, and universities.

Highlighted Salaries Draw Attention in Public Competitions
Among the opportunities with good remuneration, the highest amount recorded this round is at Alerj (Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro). The agency offers salaries reaching R$ 44,008.52 for candidates with medium and higher education, with registrations open until December 2.
Another significant selection comes from IBGE, which opened 9,580 temporary positions, considered the most numerous at the moment. The positions cater to candidates from diverse backgrounds and reinforce the national demand for professionals for statistical surveys.
Public Competitions With a Large Number of Positions
Meanwhile, several city halls have expanded their announcements to meet regional demands. Only the municipality of Planaltina (GO) opened 1,240 positions, with salaries of up to R$ 9,515.24. The City Hall of Caxias (MA) offers 1,312 positions, distributed across fundamental, medium, technical, and higher levels.
In the Northeast, the City Hall of Eusébio (CE) provides 1,704 positions, all for higher education, with salaries reaching R$ 5,486. Additionally, the Secretary of Justice and Public Security of Minas Gerais (Sejusp-MG) opened 1,178 positions, with a remuneration of R$ 5,332.64.
Opportunities in the Public Security Sector
For those looking to work in public security, the competitions for the Military Police of Minas Gerais offer two selections, both for higher education, with salaries varying between R$ 7,506.80 and R$ 11,547.07. Registration runs until December 18.
The Municipal Guard of Curitiba also opened 100 positions, with salaries of R$ 4,006.71.
Public Administration Boosts the Job Market
In addition to the large selections, several city halls in São Paulo and Minas Gerais have announced important calls for the job market, especially in areas such as health, education, and administration.
Among them:
- City Hall of Ilha Comprida (SP) – 35 positions with salaries of up to R$ 23,154.14.
- City Hall of Itaberá (SP) – 40 positions with salaries of up to R$ 22,464.40.
- City Hall of Itaquaquecetuba (SP) – 215 positions, with remuneration that can reach R$ 20,504.17.
- City Hall of Itumirim (MG) – 112 positions and salaries of up to R$ 12,679.45.
These selections strengthen the job offerings in the public sector and broaden the options for those looking to enter stable careers.
Education and Public Universities Open New Positions
In the education sector, several federal institutes and universities have also opened competitions. IFSP, for example, has announcements with 72 positions for teachers and technicians, with salaries reaching R$ 8,058.29.
Unesp, UFPI, UFC, and Unipampa are also currently accepting registrations, reinforcing the demand for qualified professionals in higher education.
Health and Technical Agencies Offer Positions Nationwide
The health sector also concentrates thousands of opportunities and, moreover, remains among the sectors that most expand hiring in public service.
In this regard, one of the standout highlights is iNova Capixaba, in Espírito Santo, which opened 932 positions with salaries reaching R$ 16,748.42. With this, the agency becomes one of the main hubs for offering positions for professionals of different levels of education.
On the other hand, regional councils also reinforce their staff. The CRM-PR and CRN-5, for example, are expanding the availability of positions for technical and higher levels and, thereby, strengthen the service and inspection structure in their areas.
