Fostering civil construction in Maceió, Engenharq has already received authorization from Sedet to start the construction of the Enterprise that promises to generate 900 new jobs in the municipality

The construction of Residencial Jardim dos Girassóis, in the Cidade Universitária neighborhood, will generate 900 direct and indirect job openings in the development in Maceió, which has already received, from the Municipal Secretariat for Territorial Development and the Environment (Sedet), the environmental authorization to start the construction. A total of 455 homes will be built on the site, according to Sedet.

Works for the construction of the project in Maceió will start in December

The works in Maceió, which promise to generate 900 jobs, will begin in December of this year. Last month, the secretary, Pedro Vieira formally handed over the authorization to businessman José Hugo Cardoso Ferro, owner of the construction company Engenharq, the company that will be responsible for building the project.

According to Pedro Vieira, the release of the construction site proves that the company's project, which will create several job openings in Maceió, complies with the parameters set out in current environmental legislation.

The residential will have a total built area of ​​23 m² and will be completely paved, with all water, drainage and sewage infrastructure. The company responsible for the project claims that 900 new job openings will be created for professionals from different specialties in civil construction. According to José, the company was very pleased to receive the environmental licensing from the City Hall and is grateful for the agility and efficiency of all the secretaries who made possible the conditions for the creation and preservation of job openings in Maceió.

Costs in construction exceed R$ 1 per square meter in Alagoas

The National Civil Construction Index (Sinapi), in May, rose to 1,8% in the state, also increasing with the sector's costs in the state, according to IBGE data.

Costs increased from R$1.253 in April to R$1.276 in May. Of the total spent in May, around R$793 were spent on materials and R$482 on labor. According to Augusto Oliveira, manager of Sinapi, there were generalized increases in the prices of materials throughout Brazil, mainly in Bahia, which reached 4,94%.

The materials also show the highest accumulated index of the last one year, of 31,58%. Among the materials, those with steel as raw material remained with strong influence, which was already predicted in previous months. In terms of manpower, there was an increase of 0,58% in the share.
