The project's capacity is 28 MW, and it is part of the Serra Branca cluster, which is developed by Voltalia, having a potential of 2,4 GW.

According to the president of Voltalia in Brazil, Robert Klein, the agreement reflects the company's ability to provide a complete project in a competitive manner from development, construction to the end of operation. According to Robert, the company's cluster is attractive due to all the infrastructure it already has in the region and the projects benefit from significant economies of scale in the construction process, in the connection facilities as well as in the operation and maintenance carried out by the teams.

The agreement for the provision of services will last eight years and will provide for the operation and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure of the production process, such as medium voltage networks, substations and transmission lines, in addition to the supervision of O&M services for wind turbines, carried out by the manufacturer and analyzed its performance.

The operations provided by Voltalia will have employees operating in shifts, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Still others will have office hours for administrative work, maintenance planning, engineering support and management. The team will have three technicians in field service, who will work on the maintenance of the electrical infrastructure and supervision of the operation and maintenance activities of the wind turbines.

After the second half of 2020, Voltalia will provide all experience and technology through its operations center in Mossoró (RN), where it will be fully operational in the coming weeks.
