COTEC has more than 18 vacancies in free qualification and training courses open to residents of Goiás with the right to a free certificate of completion
The Technological Colleges of Goiás (COTEC) announced more than 18 places in free qualification and training courses, through a partnership with the Government of Goiás, via the State Secretariat for Retomada (SER), and the Federal University of Goiás (UFG ). The free courses last, on average, between 40 hours and 240 hours and, at the end, students are entitled to free certificates.

Requirements to participate in COTEC's free courses
To guarantee their enrollment in the opportunities in Goiás, those interested must be 16 years old and have completed Elementary School. Courses are offered in the most diverse areas of knowledge, such as: Cutting and Sewing, Beauty Services, Administrative Routines, Personal Finance and Culinary Techniques.
Free courses with the right to certificates are available for residents of the following cities: Porangatu, Ceres, Formosa, Jaraguá, Goianésia, Goiás, Goiânia, Cristalina, Palmeiras de Goiás, Anápolis, Catalão, Caiapônia, Goiatuba, Santa Helena de Goiás, Piranhas and Uruana.
In Goiânia, there are training and qualification courses open at the Sebastião de Siqueira school. The new COTEC notice will not create just one group for each course, but groups on demand. In this way, enrollments can be made for longer and, whenever a course reaches the precise number of enrollments to open a new class, this one will be created.
