Cyan Renewables, a Seraya Partners company, has acquired a stake in Sentinel Marine to strengthen its position in overseas vessels.
Cyan Renewables, a portfolio company of Seraya Partners, has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Sentinel Marine to strengthen its market presence offshore wind from the UK and increase your local content.
The company, based in Singapore, is the first dedicated ship operator offshore wind of Asia and now owns 75% of Sentinel Marine, a marine operator of environmental response ships in the UK that has the youngest fleet of vessels emergency response and rescue systems (ERRVs) in the country. The acquisition consolidates Cyan Renewables' position in the market offshore wind.

Sentinel Marine has stood out in the Offshore Wind Energy market, with a fleet of 13 vessels modern and high specification equipped offshore support facilities. A acquisition of Sentinel Marine's multi-purpose ERRVs will complement Cyan Renewables' vessel portfolio whilst placing the latter in a strategic position to bring its expertise to the UK offshore wind market.
By leveraging and expanding Sentinel Marine's expertise in marine life and biodiversity protection outside the UK, it will also create synergies in the Asian market to bolster marine conservation efforts, which is a significant step in supporting the global blue economy transition for the green economy.
