The Pré-Sal Petróleo S.A. (PPSA), one of the leading companies in the oil and gas sector in Brazil, announced the opening of registrations for its first public competition in 12 years, offering 100 immediate job openings, in addition to forming a reserve registration.

Salary ranges from R$ 8,240 to R$ 19,610! The selection process will be carried out by the Institute of Development and Training (IDCAP) and promises to attract highly qualified professionals, mainly from the legal and management areas.

The job openings are intended for professionals with higher education in relevant areas to the positions. Additionally, 5% of the total vacancies are reserved for people with disabilities (PCDs) and 20% for self-declared black candidates.

The initial remuneration for the positions varies according to the function. The amounts can be consulted in detail in the official notice, but estimates indicate that salaries range from R$ 8,240 to R$ 19,610, depending on the area and level of qualification required.

Registrations And Competition Stages

Registrations for the competition can be done online through the IDCAP website, the organizing bank.

The registration period runs from February 5 to March 17, 2025. During this period, candidates can also request an exemption from the registration fee, which varies depending on the chosen position:

Corporate Management Analyst: R$ 100;
Information Technology Analyst: R$ 100;
Lawyer: R$ 150;
Oil and Gas Specialist: R$ 150.

Those interested who are bone marrow donors or registered in CadÚnico can request an exemption from the fee, according to the rules established in the official notice.

The competition will consist of two main stages: objective test for all positions; and a written test, which will be applied exclusively for the positions of Lawyer and Oil and Gas Specialist.

The tests will take place on April 27, 2025, in the cities of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Paulo (SP), and Salvador (BA).

The competition schedule is detailed in Annex I of the official notice, and the main dates are as follows:

Registrations: from February 5 to March 17, 2025;
Request for fee exemption: from February 5 to 6, 2025;
Deadline for payment of registrations: March 18, 2025;
Disclosure of test locations: April 14, 2025;
Date of application of tests: April 27, 2025;
Result of the objective test: May 20, 2025;
Result of the written test: June 12, 2025;
Final result: July 8, 2025.
