For positions that require technical secondary education, starting salaries are R$2.502,87 for a 24-hour work week, R$4.754,29 for 36 hours and R$4.171,99 for 40 hours. For higher education, salaries are as follows:
- Journalist – R$4.541,26, for 25 hours per week;
- Doctor 40 hours – up to BRL 19.614,63;
- 24-hour doctor – BRL 9.973,13;
- Nurse – BRL 7.715,96, for 36 hours a week;
- Doctor 30 hours – up to R$ 10.564,32.

- assistance for people with disabilities for children or dependents – R$ 207,48;
- preschool aid – R$ 183,72;
- medical and odontologic assistence;
- food allowance – R$ 563,16.

What will the EBSERH competition tests be like?

The exams for the mid-technical level EBSERH competition must be taken in the morning and those in the higher-level healthcare, medical and administrative areas in the afternoon.
A discursive test for mid-level administrative area-technical consists of preparing a dissertation text, with a length of between 20 and 30 lines, based on a theme linked to basic knowledge and current affairs.

The last major EBSERH competition took place in 2019, when no less than 2.464 vacancies were offered for immediate filling, in addition to forming a reserve list of personnel in various positions, with opportunities for secondary, technical and higher levels, in several states in Brazil. The starting salaries offered to those approved for vacancies ranged from R$2.170,22 to R$10.350,56.
The selection process included several notices, distributed by two organizing boards, namely Fundação Vunesp and Instituto Brasileiro de Formação e Capacitação (IBFC). In total, 324.832 people were registered in Brazil.
