Lieutenant Colonel and top engineer from SpaceX will be on board
Also on board will be Scott Poteet, a retired lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Air Force and former colleague of Isaacman, and Anna Menon, another top engineer at SpaceX. Although three of the four crew members are going to space for the first time, Isaacman already has experience, as he participated in the Inspiration4 mission in 2021, which was also entirely civilian.
Another highlight of the Polaris Dawn will be the first manned test of Starlink laser communications in space.
