Certifications That Will Open Doors

Technical qualifications don’t stop there. EM&I Brazil requires candidates to have at least one of the following certifications:

Underwater Visual Inspection (SM-EV-N2-G / SM-EV-N2-ROV)
Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (SM-US-N2-ME / SM-ME-N2-ROV)
Electrochemical Potential Measurement (SM-PE-N2-G / SM-PE-N2-ROV)

Additionally, having safety and survival training, such as CBSP and HUET, is crucial to meet the rigorous demands of clients and industry standards.

Responsibilities of an ROV Pilot

The responsibilities of an ROV Pilot (Remotely Operated Vehicle) go beyond just maneuvering the equipment. These professionals are responsible for performing underwater inspections, interventions, and maintenance on underwater structures and equipment.
