Company Launches Sustainable And Renewable Fuel Similar To Diesel To Reduce Greenhouse Effect

The Sustainable Fuel Launched by Vibra and Announced at Fenatran This Monday, November 7, Has a Chemical Formula Quite Similar to Diesel, Being One of the Highlights in Mobility and the Environment. According to the Company, the Chemical Formula Aims to Reduce CO2 and Greenhouse Gas Emissions. 

The Fenatran is a logistics and transportation event that started this Monday, November 7, and runs until November 11. Among the main novelties is the research conducted by the private company Vibra, which created a sustainable fuel that will allow the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions to mitigate the greenhouse effect. Its chemical composition is similar to the diesel sold by Petrobras.

Its formula is similar to diesel, with the addition of some extra components in the chemical composition. Until the last day of the event, the company will present other launches, including one of its lubricants. All lectures take place in São Paulo (SP). 

With more than 100 square meters, the stand will showcase the main research developed in recent months, in addition to providing a special focus on electromobility and the electric energy market. Finally, except for this Monday, November 7, the other days will feature Thematic Rounds at 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, and 6:30 PM.

Vibra Launches Renewable Diesel Fuel and This Will Be One of the Main Highlights of Fenatran 2022

The sustainable and renewable diesel is one of the biggest highlights of the Fenatran event and attracts various partner clients for closing deals. Its chemical composition is similar to the traditional one derived from oil, which ends up being used in most trucks. However, it was necessary to make some adaptations so that it could be used by engines and pumps to achieve the same performance as current market options. 

The fuel sold by Petrobras consists of 95% mineral diesel, while the remainder is renewable diesel. However, Vibra has made the mandatory addition of 10% ester biodiesel to make it more sustainable and, according to research conducted by the brand, to reduce carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions in the environment. 

Marcelo Bragança, Executive Vice President of Operations, Logistics, and Sourcing at Vibra, states that this was a measure taken by the company in order to seek low-carbon economy, leading the energy transition in Brazil regarding sustainable fuels for the environment. 

Geotab, Global Leader in Telematics, Will Also Be One of the Participants at Fenatran This Year 

In addition to discussions about renewable fuel and diesel at Fenatran, the company Geotab, another participant of the event, will present one of its towers developed to identify logistics and transport issues encountered by truck drivers regarding defensive driving, fuel shortages, and other points that will make logistics smarter. 

The algorithm present in the platform created by the company will allow fleet managers to track the progress of deliveries, what is happening with each truck, and other relevant data that may interfere with deadlines. Thus ensuring more practicality and organization in the sector, especially when reformulating new routes. 

So far, it is estimated that Geotab has more than 50,000 clients. The private company is a reference in the logistics and transportation sector, increasing its investments each year to maintain its leadership position.
