Large Offshore Company in Macaé Is Hiring Again for Many Positions in Celebration of Another Maintenance Contract
Another significant moment for offshore workers has just arrived. Alphatec Engenharia has opened its 3rd selection process in Macaé to maintain platforms in the Campos Basin. You can check out the 1st hiring marathon here or the 2nd by accessing this other link.
It’s important to remember that the selection process is official, as they have massively advertised their selection process on social media for many positions. But keep in mind that the selection process is only via email; they emphasize that you should not bring printed resumes to the company’s door, as unfortunately this causes a lot of confusion and disorder in front of the company.

According to Alphatec’s posting on their social network today (08/01/2017), the available positions are for:

Also, it’s worth noting that for each of these positions, there are openings available for persons with disabilities (PWD).
Required Qualifications and Application
For the Technical Assistant and Maintenance/Refrigeration/Water Jet Mechanic positions, a technical course in the field, experience in the role, and CREA are required. It was not specified if it is mandatory to have the HUET and CBSP courses. For Offshore Helper, Administrative Assistant, and Scaffolder positions, only experience and vocational courses in the area are required. Why Is Alphatec Advertising So Many Vacancies?
It happens that after UTC halted maintenance work on several platforms in the Campos Basin due to Petrobras not transferring the owed amounts, they laid off many employees, leaving the offshore units without maintenance.
