“G.wind for the maintenance and operation of wind blades; Tech Wind, for the maintenance of metal towers and fastening systems; and Bio. Energia, for all inspection and maintenance of other components of the wind turbine”.
Carlos Vasconcelos, sales manager of Tech Wind Services (2022).
Carlos pointed out that the shared management system among the three companies and the differentiated maintenance supported by engineering were highlights that the company brought to the congress.
” G.wind for the blades, with the suspended platforms developed with a significant investment made in the last year, in a training center to reduce the repair time of the wind blades without the need to disassemble them from the wind turbines“.
Carlos Vasconcelos, sales manager of Tech Wind Services (2022).
The major differentiator is the shared management system for the maintenance of wind energy towers. This is achieved through the consolidation of documentation sharing and maintenance supported by the engineering sector.
Agility in Wind Turbine Maintenance in the Wind Energy Sector Is Tech Wind’s Great Achievement, and It Will Generate Many Jobs
The Tech Wind branch brought a suspended platform for blade maintenance, resulting from significant training investments in recent years. Thus, the company was able to reduce the time needed for each wind blade maintenance, as the blades can be handled without disassembling the wind turbines.
The company also operates in bioenergy, through particulate filtration systems and constant oil changes. Thus, Tech Wind increases the lifespan of equipment while generating new jobs through the training of skilled personnel.
In other words, the main focus is always to seek ways to optimize maintenance and make it more agile. The company achieves faster turnaround times for clients, park operators, and manufacturers.
Tech Wind Services Invests in Technical Courses and Continuing Education to Train Workers in the Sector
The company has trained over 600 technicians for work. Annually, the company conducts refresher courses for technical repairs and updates regarding regulatory standards. Therefore, Tech Wind is raising the standard of the national wind sector to a level of international certifications by meeting safety requirements.
Moreover, another important aspect is Tech Wind’s investment in preparatory courses and training. According to Vasconcelos, in 2022 alone, over 60 technicians were trained from end clients through the courses. However, the company is always seeking continuous training to further qualify professionals.
