American Group Carrier Introduced Groundbreaking Detection Technology at Rio Oil & Gas to Revolutionize the Oil and Gas Sector

The American group Carrier brought a revolutionary fire detection and fighting system, showcased at the Kidde stand at Rio Oil & Gas. This system is unprecedented and connected to a programmable software that gathers monitoring data. However, this monitoring can be recorded from up to 10 km away from the location.

In this sense, the main objective was to facilitate surveillance in hard-to-reach areas, as well as provide a more complete risk analysis. In addition, the devices are prepared to act automatically in the event of fire detection, reducing potential damage.

Another major technology in the oil and gas sector is a new fire suppression system that does not require the use of water. Thus, Uptec employs clean agents with evaporation potential, which can minimize environmental damage.

Uptec Presented Technology to Address Corrosion in Pipelines and Amacel Introduced a Unique Coating in the Oil and Gas Sector

The innovations and technologies were not exclusive to Carrier. After all, Uptec presented Ovolit during the event at Rio Oil & Gas. This new invention is an energy transition solution aimed at treating hard-to-manage corrosion in pipelines. However, the equipment can raise the pipelines for repairs without interrupting routine activities. The hydraulic mechanism, which consumes no energy, is unprecedented and surprised many.

Amacel also made its mark at the fair by presenting a new coating made of glass wool and dried silica for pipelines in the oil and gas sector. The materials used provide greater lightness to the pipelines and reduce the chances of common damages such as corrosion. Additionally, they withstand high temperatures, being up to five times more effective than conventionally used insulators.

Qnergy and MXM Sistemas Presented Energy Efficiency Solutions

Rio Oil & Gas brought the discussion on energy efficiency and the need for energy transition. In this sense, the American company Qnergy presented a solution capable of working with all types of gas in citrus systems. It is a piece of equipment capable of producing up to 5,650W while consuming up to 13 liters daily.

MXM Sistemas also impressed everyone at the fair by presenting a fully online platform for integrated offshore and onshore management. This platform model has been designed to fit the reality of each company. Therefore, you can customize the functions and use them across all corporate sectors to optimize productivity in the oil and gas sector.
