Renewable Energy Company Enel Green Power Decided to Focus Its Investments in Solar and Wind Energy in Piau

Enel Green Power will invest more than two million reais in renewable energy investments to create new wind and solar power plants in Piau.

The business director of Enel Green Power confirmed the interest in the investment plan for creating new renewable energy plants in the state of Piau during a video conference with Governor Leonardo, which showcased the investment year for the state of Piau from this year 2020 to 2050.

The project to create new renewable energy plants in Piau also includes previous projects such as Lagoa do Sol and Lagoa dos Ventos.

‘This is One of the Most Ambitious Investment Plans I Have’ Says the Director of Enel Green Power

“The application of investments in renewable energy in Piau is one of my greatest ambitions, I can affirm that many of the projects are already being implemented and have been approved by the state,” adds Leonardo.

“Of the 800 MW that Enel Green Power wants to invest, I can affirm that half are intended for Piau, including the Lagoa dos Ventos V project, which encompasses 400 MW and 2 million in investments.” The company director concludes.
