The State of Pernambuco Will Benefit from More Than 100 Job Opportunities from Engeman During the Development of the Project. The Contract with Rnest Provides for the Supply of Large Equipment for Maintenance at the Plant.

The Pernambucan company Engeman has great opportunities for growth in the national market this Saturday, (12/03). The company was the big winner of the bidding for the supply of large equipment for the coke unit of the Abreu e Lima Refinery (Rnest) in Ipojuca, Pernambuco. The equipment will be used in maintenance and infrastructure works of the plant. The contract with Rnest also provides for the creation of more than 100 job opportunities for local residents.

Engeman Wins Bid and Will Be Responsible for Supplying Large Equipment to Rnest in the Coming Months

Engeman emerged as the big winner of the Rnest refinery bidding for the supply of new large equipment for the plant.

The agreement between the companies will total R$ 41 million over a duration of three years, significantly benefiting both companies.

However, the state of Pernambuco will also receive positive outcomes from the partnership, as around 100 new job opportunities are expected for local residents.

Professionals will be hired in various areas to meet the requirements of the equipment supply contract.

The machines will be used in infrastructure and maintenance works at the plant, such as decoking, electromechanical maintenance of the involved equipment, as well as all product handling and dispatch.

The list of Engeman’s equipment includes cranes, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, among other items that will contribute to the completion of necessary reforms at Rnest.

Contract Between Rnest and Engeman Provides Not Only for Equipment Supply but Also for Labor, Boosting Job Creation in the Region

In addition to supplying all necessary equipment for the work at Rnest under the contract, Engeman will also be responsible for providing labor 24 hours a day for maintenance, as well as all product handling and dispatch to the customer, who purchases green coke from Petrobras for use in various markets.

Coke is used as a reducer in the industries of pig iron, ferroalloys, ceramics, cement, coal-fired thermoelectric, foundry, calcination, gasification, grain drying, and chemicals.

Rnest was designed to ensure flexibility in the use of various types of oil, as it has two sets of independent refining units.

Therefore, maintenance operations with Petrobras will become even more optimized with Engeman’s labor provided under the contract.

Thus, job creation will be significantly boosted in the state of Pernambuco, as the companies require skilled labor for the project.
