Entrance Examination Dates at State Universities and Federal Institutions for 2021 confirmed

Due to the New Coronavirus pandemic, State Universities and Federal Institutes of Paraná had to postpone the dates of the entrance exams. And in some cases, adapt to new methods for applying tests

State Universities and Federal Institutions had no choice but to postpone the date of their entrance exams, due to the New Coronavirus pandemic. Having to adapt to new normal, managers of some EUs and IFs decided to abolish the conventional way and invest in virtual selections, among other safer methods for students to enter universities and federal institutes.

Check below the new calendar of entrance exams for State Universities and Federal Institutes of the State of Paraná

Universidade Federal do Paraná

UFPR will apply the tests in two phases, the first on the 28/02th and the second on the 18th and 19/04.

The university decided to continue with the application of tests in the face-to-face modality, however, following all the hygiene and safety protocols established by the Ministry of Health. Entries have now closed.

Federal Technological University of Paraná

A UTFPR informed that the admission of students is done through ENEM.

Federal University of Latin American Integration

A UNILA uses the Unified Selection System, SISU, to select students of exclusively Brazilian nationality.

Federal University of Fronteira Sul

Like UNILA and UTFPR, the UFFS also uses ENEM and SISU to select students.

Federal Institute of Paraná

O IFPR this year he decided not to take the face-to-face entrance exams, as usual.

ENEM grades from 2018 to 2020 will be used for admission to higher education courses. As for the middle-technical level, concurrent and subsequent, a public draw will be held from the 1st to the 3rd of March.

There will be no surplus list call. Registration has been open since the 04th and will close on the 08th of March.

State University of Maringá

A UEM postponed the exams until next year. It will take place on March 21st and 22nd, 2020. Registration is now closed.

State University of Londrina

Adopting hygiene and health safety protocols, UEL decided to carry out the tests in a single phase. It will be on March 14th and registration has already closed.

State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG)

The selective will be in person and will take place on March 7th and 8th. Enrollments closed.

Midwest State University (Unicentro)

The tests will be on the 11th and 12th of April. Selective also face-to-face. Applications close on February 4th.

Western State University Paraná

the university entrance exam uniwest will be on May 30, in person. Registration will be between February and April.

Paraná State Universities

A unespar replaced the traditional entrance exam with three alternatives at the student's discretion: Enroll through SISU; Use the final average of the university entrance exam or ENEM for the years 2018 and 2019;

By the weighted average between the grades of the last year of high school and an essay, which will be done in person at Unespar. Courses that need a second phase of assessment will be done online.

State University of Northern Paraná (UENP)

The tests will be face-to-face, held on April 18, 2021. Registration will be open until March 10.
