Located in the central-south region of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, the municipality of Dourados will receive a new factory from Bello Alimentos, with investments of around R$ 7 million, generating 100 new jobs for the city. The new unit of the company will be dedicated to the production of frozen foods, with a storage capacity of up to 900 tons of frozen foods.

Cleriston José Recalcatti, head of the Municipal Department of Economic Development (Semdes), says that new factories coming to the city of Dourados, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, generate several benefits, such as economic movement, direct jobs for the population, tax generation for the city hall, among others. According to him, all these factors create buying power and benefits for the municipality.
The head of Semdes also emphasizes that, with the generation of jobs and taxes for the city, the residents are the ones who benefit the most, with new opportunities arising from local revenue. The arrival of new factories is essential for economic development, as it places Dourados, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, on the radar of other investors.

Jobs at the Bello Alimentos Factory in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul
Currently, there are 70 employees hired directly, and 300 indirectly. The company is the largest producer of fertile and embryonic eggs in the country and has become a supplier of raw materials for the Instituto Butantan, contributing to research and vaccine production. The production process of Bello Alimentos is based on the use of new technologies, continuous improvement of the employees, and continuous enhancement of structural quality. In addition to focusing on the good functioning and quality of the company’s products, Bello Alimentos also seeks to promote the development of the communities where it operates, generating 1,500 direct jobs and 4,500 indirect jobs.
Suzano Will Open a New Factory and Will Generate Many Jobs in MS
Suzano, one of the largest producers of pulp in the world, will open its 3rd factory in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, which will be located in the city of Ribas do Rio Pardo, 102 km from the state capital. The company has registered a CNPJ to carry out forestry activities, such as wood cultivation and extraction. The issued document did not mention anything related to new paper and pulp industrialization activities. As a result, many jobs are expected to be created with the new Suzano Pulp and Paper factory in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
The forecast is that in the coming days, Suzano’s management will approve the factory construction project in Ribas do Rio Pardo. Due to increased demand for pulp, especially in China and other countries/regions, Suzano has raised the product price per ton, allowing the company to implement the project in Ribas do Rio Pardo, with an estimated budget of approximately US$ 3 billion.
