The services performed at the Wilson Sons shipyard dock involved structural repairs and upgrades to the box cooler (water cooling system).
The dredger had to interrupt its services at the Port of Santos to undergo the repairs, was built in the Netherlands, and has been in use for 10 years.
According to Adalberto Souza, executive director of Wilson Sons, the company was chosen by the shipowner for its excellent location, infrastructure, and secure operational practices.
“Other contracts are in advanced negotiation stages. Wilson Sons Shipyards has significant differentiators, such as a tradition of on-time deliveries, quality, competitive pricing, and the backing of a strong group like Wilson Sons,” highlighted the director.
