Macaé companies Bacia de Campos Avante Première Brasil Offshore

Event Avante Première Brasil Offshore was attended by many companies from the Campos Basin and entities with an eye on the new economic scenario of Macaé and oil producing regions

Representatives of service providers and oil companies from the offshore sector gathered in Macaé - RJ, at the Avante Première Brasil Offshore event last Tuesday (19), which is a prelude to the fair that will take place from June 25 to 28 of this year. The purpose of this meeting was to expose the challenges and possibilities that the city will face over the next few years.

In addition to the biggest players in the industry being at the event, government authorities and institutions were also present. The Brasil Offshore Fair is expected to generate around R$300 million in business in 2019.

Daniel Pereira, manager of Feira Brasil Offshore, said that the event was presented in 2 parts: in the first section, it was exposed from the point of view of the companies that have contracts in the Campos Basin, their opinions and perspectives, in the second part, Firjan, IBP, MME and other institutions presented their views.

Who opened the event was the Globo News journalist, Christiane Pelajo, telling a little about the new positive panorama that the modality of services that the oil sector in Brazil, mainly in Macaé, will represent in the economic, political and international scenario.

Brazil Offshore Fair

The Brasil Offshore Fair is one of the main business references for companies that operate and wish to operate in the Campos Basin, and has been taking place in the city of Macaé for 20 years.

The last edition of the fair was held in 2017 and had more than 40 hours of activities such as lectures, panels and technical demonstrations; more than R$ 100 million in business initiated during the event; in addition to a business roundtable that included 370 meetings and handled more than R$ 142 million in business.
