The Davos Download, Promoted by the Organizations Boomera Ambipar and SAS Brasil, Will Take Place This Tuesday, July 5, and Will Have Online Transmission and Simultaneous Translation

Boomera Ambipar and SAS Brasil, organizations awarded by the Schwab Foundation at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, will promote an exclusive in-person event that will bring together Brazilian and international social entrepreneurs for a discussion on the ESG Landscape in Brazil and around the world. The event will be divided into three panels that will discuss each of the ESG pillars. Journalist Eliane Trindade will be one of the moderators of the event. Among the confirmed speakers are the co-founders of SAS Brasil, Adriana Mallet and Sabine Zink, Guilherme Brammer and Tatiana Brammer (Boomera Ambipar), Celso Athayde (CUFA and Favela Holding), and Kamila Camilo (Impact Beyond). Additionally, international guests such as François Bonnici, director of the Schwab Foundation and Head of Social Innovation at the World Economic Forum, Thais Vojvodic, Senior Manager at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Plastics Initiative, and Helmy Abouleish, CEO of SEKEM in Egypt and Social Entrepreneur awardee in Davos, will also participate remotely. The meeting will also gather, among the guests in the in-person audience, ESG and sustainability directors, as well as CEOs of major national and multinational companies.

Guilherme Brammer, CEO of Boomera Ambipar

For the co-founder of SAS Brasil, Sabine Zink, the event is an important moment of interaction and learning among social entrepreneurs who believe in and work towards the development of the ESG movement in Brazil and the world. “When we were at the World Economic Forum in Davos, we talked with the leaders of Boomera Ambipar, a company that also won the Social Entrepreneur of the Year award from Folha de São Paulo, and we felt not only the desire but the need to share with the world the discussions, debates, and experiences we had at the event. Thus, we conceived and promoted the ‘Download Davos’,” highlights Sabine.

The CEO and co-founder of Boomera Ambipar, Guilherme Brammer, describes the satisfaction of hosting a meeting with great national and international leaders. “In Davos, the delegation of social entrepreneurs had the opportunity to share and learn unique and exclusive knowledge about the ESG movement, and it is our duty, as entrepreneurs who believe in sustainable development that uses innovative and strategic solutions to improve people’s quality of life, to bring this knowledge to our country. We will bring what we learned in Davos back to Brazil and maintain the connection with social entrepreneurs from around the world. By joining forces, knowledge, and experiences, we can accelerate the transformation and realization of what is defined as ESG,” he concludes.
