The Army Sergeant School (ESA) has published a competition notice offering 1,100 vacancies for high school level. The starting salary will be R$ 3,825.00. For the competition, there are chances for both sexes; in the general area, 100 positions are allocated for women and 900 for men. Additionally, 45 opportunities will be for musicians and another 55 for the health sector.

Music Area – 45 positions allocated for clarinet in MIB/clarinet in SIB, flute in C/ piccolo in C, baritone saxhorn in SIB/ bass saxhorn in SIB, saxophone in MIB/saxophone in SIB, timpani, bass drum, cymbals, snare drum, andbass drum, tenor trombone in SIB (slide), bass trombone in SIB (slide), F horn, trumpet in MIB/SIB – cornet in SIB/ flugelhorn in SIB, tuba in MIB/tuba in SIB.
Requirements
To apply for the competition, it is necessary to have completed high school; be at least 17 years old and at most 24 years old, except for the health and music areas where the maximum age will be 26 years until enrollment ends, have a minimum height of 1.60m for males, and 1.55m for females.
It should also be noted that Officers or officer candidates active in the Armed Forces or Auxiliary Forces cannot compete.
Registrations for ESA Army Competition 2020
Registrations opened yesterday, February 19. The registration period will run until March 18. An application fee of R$ 95 will be charged.

Only children of ex-combatants from World War II, injured in action; low-income family members; registered in the Government’s Federal Social Programs Unified Registration (Cad Único); and bone marrow donors can request an exemption from the application fee.
The deadline to request an exemption is from February 19 to 21, and the list of exempt individuals will be released on the 27th of the same month.
