New Military Schools Contest 2024 Opens 405 Vacancies in Several Regions of the Country. The Vacancies for Military Schools Are Intended for Candidates Who Will Enter the 6th Grade of Elementary School or 1st Year of High School.

On this Monday (29), registration was opened for a new selection process of the Army focused on admission to the Military Schools. The offer is for 405 vacancies, of which 355 are for the 6th grade of elementary school and 50 for the 1st year of high school. There will be a reservation of 5% of the vacancies for candidates with disabilities in the Military Schools contest.

Requirements to Compete for the Vacancies of the Military Schools

The opportunities for the Military Schools contest are for the units in Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Campo Grande, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Juiz de Fora, Manaus, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Maria, Salvador, São Paulo, and Vila Militar/RJ. For those interested in the Military Schools vacancies in the 6th grade of elementary school, it is necessary to have completed or be attending, in 2024, the 5th grade of elementary school and be under 12 years old by March 31, 2025, and turn 10 years old by March 31, 2025.

For admission to the 1st year of high school, the candidate must have completed or be attending in 2024 the 9th grade of elementary school and be under 16 years old by March 31, 2025, and turn 14 years old by March 31, 2025.

Learn How to Register for the Contest to Study at the Military Schools

The candidate’s registration can only be made at the Military School for which the candidate will take the selection process, either online or in person.

The registration deadline for the Military Schools vacancies will close at 12:00 PM on September 5, 2024. A participation fee of R$ 95 will be charged, which must be paid by the last day of registration. A fee exemption can be requested between July 30 and August 13 by the candidate’s legal guardian, provided that they prove economic need.

How Will the Tests of the Military Schools Contest Be?

The selection process for the Military Schools vacancies will consist of stages such as intellectual examination, medical and dental review, and verification of the candidates’ biographical requirements.

The intellectual examination will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, with 20 in mathematics and 20 in Portuguese. The test will last 3 hours and 30 minutes and will be administered on the scheduled date of October 20, 2024, and the question booklet and answers will be released on October 21, starting at 12:00 PM, on the Military School’s website.
