As published in the notice 02/2025, IFSP is offering 150 spots for the specialization in Inclusive Education, a course that promises to train educators to work in the inclusion of students with specific educational needs.
Applications were opened on January 6, 2025, and will be accepted until February 7, 2025, allowing educators from all over Brazil to enhance their professional skills without leaving home.
What The Course Offers
The specialization has a workload of 400 hours, covering both theoretical and practical components.
The main objective is to train education professionals to promote more inclusive school environments, enabling the creation of strategies that value diversity in the school context.
This initiative is also aligned with affirmative policies and the most modern practices of educational inclusion.
Among the program contents, participants will find topics such as:
- Theories and policies of educational inclusion;
- Inclusive pedagogical practices;
- Tools for valuing differences;
- Planning and execution of strategies for inclusive education.
The course format is entirely online, which means that no in-person attendance at support centers will be necessary. However, the centers will be available for support, if needed, in five locations:

Who Can Register
The course is aimed at education professionals who hold a degree recognized by the MEC.
In addition to the general spots, IFSP has adopted inclusive measures to ensure the participation of different groups:
- 20% of the spots reserved for self-declared Black, Brown, or Indigenous candidates (PPI);
- 5% for people with disabilities (PCD);
- 1 spot for quilombola candidates, according to current legislation.
Applications must be made through an electronic form, available until February 7, 2025.
It is essential to fill in all fields correctly and attach the required documents to validate the application.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in two qualifying stages:
Analysis of diploma and experience in the education field: In this phase, diplomas and proof of professional experience in the educational field will be evaluated.
Lottery: If there is a tie for the last spot, a lottery will be held among the tied candidates.
The preliminary result will be announced on February 21, 2025, while the final result is scheduled for February 27, 2025.
Approved candidates must enroll between February 28 and March 5, 2025.
