Faetec Opened More Than Nine Thousand Slots in Free Qualification Courses for Cities and Municipalities in Rio de Janeiro on This Day, September 2
For those living in Rio de Janeiro who are interested in professionally qualifying for the job market, the Technical School Support Foundation (Faetec), an entity linked to the State Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation, opened free registrations on this day, September 2, for more than 30 course options. The Foundation has made available this Wednesday round opportunities in 79 units across the State. Applicants can register in cities such as:

Those interested can compete for one of the 9,462 open slots in units spread throughout the State of Rio. Among the opportunities are Baker; Pastry Chef; Waiter; Kitchen Assistant; Bartender; Manicure and Pedicure; Salesperson; Computer – Windows Environment I and II; Computer Assembler and Repairer; Receptionists in Hospitality, among others.
Requirements
To apply for vocational courses, applicants must be between 14 and 18 years of age, according to the requirements of each course.
The educational background also varies according to the chosen qualification. The public lottery for the slots will take place on September 20, starting at 10 AM, and the complete list will be published on the institution’s website.
The enrollment period for selected candidates will be from September 23 to 26. Classes will begin on October 7 (Monday).
The courses last ten weeks.
