Free Cybersecurity Course from FAETEC, in Partnership with Cisco, Opens Registration with Online Classes and International Certificate; Participants Can Still Advance to New Training in the Technology Field

The digital security sector continues to expand and now those who want to enter this field can get started without paying anything. Registration is open for the free Introduction to Cybersecurity course, offered by Cisco in partnership with Faetec and the Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation.

Classes begin on March 9 and continue until March 29, marking the 12th edition of the Cyber Education Marathon. The content is fully online and can be accessed via mobile or laptop.

Students study at their own pace, with no fixed live broadcasting times. However, all mandatory activities must be completed by the last day of the course.

Young people seeking their first certificate in the technology field
Professionals wishing to transition to the cybersecurity sector
Individuals interested in enhancing their resumes with international training

No advanced knowledge is required. The training is introductory and, therefore, designed for beginners.

With a workload of 6 hours, the course covers essential fundamentals for anyone wanting to understand how data protection and digital systems work.

The Training is Free, but the Certificate is International and Recognized

To obtain the international certificate issued by Cisco, it is necessary to:

Complete all modules
Answer the quizzes
Fill out the completion survey
Take the final exam and achieve the required minimum score

Those who meet all the requirements will automatically be eligible for the selection phase conducted by Cisco itself. This step can then open doors to further training in information security, as well as internship or job opportunities.

How to Secure Your Spot in the E-Learning Course from Faetec Before the Marathon Ends?

The registration is done online, through a form provided by the organizers. Interested parties fill out the registration and, after confirmation, receive instructions on how to access the course platform.

Registrations remain open until the last day of the training. However, those who wait until the last minute will have less time to complete all required activities.
