Faetec Rio opens more than 200 vacancies in the competition

In Rio de Janeiro, FAETEC published a notice for a new public tender with 209 vacancies for professionals in secondary and higher education

The Technical School Support Foundation (FAETEC), an institution linked to the State Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation (Secti) of the Government of Rio de Janeiro, launched a public tender for filling 209 vacancies for mid-level, technical and higher. Last month, the institution opened enrollment for more than nine thousand vacancies in qualification courses.

Administrative Technicians will be remunerated with salaries of R$ 1.607,13 to R$ 4.554,00, and Professors with salaries of R$ 1.500,00 and R$ 4.554,00. The capacity will be in the Metropolitan Region, Northwest Fluminense, North Fluminense, Baixada Litorânea, Middle Paraíba and Center-South Fluminense.

Among the vacancies offered in the selection process are:

Teacher: Special Education, Nursing, Portuguese Language, Art, Physical Education, Clinical Analysis, Psychology, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, History, Pedagogy, Sociology, Aesthetics, Environment, Psychology, Dental Prosthesis, Occupational Safety, Electronics, Mechanics, Chemistry, Geography, English, Libras, Sciences, Accounting, Gastronomy, Tourism, Information Technology, Information Technology/Digital Games, Buildings, Fashion, Electrical Engineering, Law and Legislation, Logistics, Metallurgy, Administration, Accounting, among other areas.

Technical-Administrative: Student Inspector, Instructor for Vocational Subjects I (Chemistry, Electrotechnics, IT and Electromechanics), Educational Advisor, Social Worker, Administrative Agent and Educational Supervisor.

Bearing in mind that the event reserves 5% of vacancies for people with disabilities, another 20% for blacks and Indians, and 10% for candidates with economic hyposufficiency.

The selection of all candidates will be made through an objective test, consisting of 35 multiple-choice questions. There will also be the following steps, depending on the position indicated:

Technical-administrative: writing (disserative-argumentative text) and evaluation of titles,
Teacher: proof of qualifications and proof of didactic performance.

The application of the objective and discursive tests is scheduled for December 15, 2019, at 9 am, in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Itaperuna, Campos dos Goytacazes, Cabo Frio, Resende and Três Rios.

Registration

The registration fee costs BRL 148 for technical and higher level positions, and BRL 83 for mid-level positions. Applicants who require exemption from the fee must apply between the 10th and 21st of October on the website of the organizing bank.

Entries can be made until the 8th of November, on the Access Institute website, organizer of the event. The objective and discursive tests are scheduled for December 15th.
