Fuel Consumption of the Fiat Cronos 2025: Does It Really Achieve 15 km/l?
Yes, the Fiat Cronos 2025 has very good fuel consumption for a naturally aspirated sedan, especially if you drive a lot. In our test, it achieved:
11.3 km/l in the city
15.4 km/l on the highway
Not bad, right? But the question is: turbo competitors deliver similar numbers, albeit with much more power in acceleration.

The truth? The Cronos falls short in engine power, as the competitors have turbo engines, which make a huge difference in daily driving.
Positive point? It’s cheaper, but for what it offers, is it worth saving?
Design and Finish – What Changed?
Look… not much changed. The design remains nice, but without major updates. The huge trunk of 525 liters continues to be one of its main assets.
Inside, the finish remains basic, with a lot of plastic and fabric seats. No air conditioning vents for rear passengers.
The multimedia system? The same since 2017. That’s right, Fiat is still using the same system from years ago while the competitors have already updated.
Engine and Performance – Lost Power?
Here’s news that may disappoint: the 1.3 Firefly engine has lost torque. Now, it delivers:
107 hp with ethanol / 98 hp with gasoline
13.6 kgfm with ethanol / 13.1 kgfm with gasoline
The 0 to 100 km/h was achieved in 12.9 seconds, meaning it’s not fast at all. If you like a peppier car, maybe the Cronos isn’t the best choice.
Technology and Safety – Is It Behind the Competition?
Well, here lies a serious problem. While Onix Plus, HB20S, and Virtus already come with six airbags, the Fiat Cronos 2025 has only two.
It lacks driving assists, such as automatic braking or blind spot alert. For a car priced over R$ 100,000, this is significant.

The Fiat Cronos 2025 starts at R$ 98,990, reaching R$ 117,990 for the most equipped version. This means that, with a little more money, you can already get an Onix Plus, HB20S, or even a Virtus, which have more modern and complete engines.
In other words, if you’re just looking for an economical and robust car for driving, the Cronos can still be an option. But if you want technology and more performance, it might be worth investing a bit more.
O Cronos é menos tecnológico e seguro que os outros concorrentes,mas tem uma grande vantagem… Ao final de muitos km rodados o custo benefício é infinitamente superior,porque a manutenção é mais barata que os demais sem dúvida nenhuma.
